Pocket Guide to the Apocalypse Pocket Guide to the Bible Pocket Guide to the Afterlife Pocket Guide to Sainthood

Jason Boyett is the author of several books, including the Pocket Guide series, which you probably know about already since you're here. Though not a professional theologian or historian, he has long been fascinated by religion and history. And pockets, apparently. Which explains this series.

Anyway, Jason is a regular contributor to several magazines and his writing has appeared in lots of different publications, including Salon and Relevant. Other books with Jason's name on them include A Guy's Guide to Life and O Me of Little Faith, to be published in late 2009 from Zondervan.

Jason has been featured on the History Channel and National Geographic Channel and also enjoys addressing audiences larger than a camera lens. He lives in Texas with his wife, Aimee, and their two children. He's not as serious as he looks in the photo.

"The Pocket Guides are absurdly funny, surprisingly full of legitimate biblical information and,
inexplicably, provoke a deeper understanding of my faith. Jason Boyett is a truly inspired and
disturbed individual and for that I am grateful."
